Hyde Position Title: Postdoctoral Scholar Description: The postdoctoral scholar is anticipated to play a large role in pre-registrations, data analyses, manuscript development, data dissemination (e.g., conference presentation), and data curation. The postdoctoral scholar will also help with data collection. Participation in the project will also provide opportunities for novel project development and continued future access to the resulting dataset. This position requires a Ph.D. in psychology or a field related to the project (e.g., neuroscience, cognitive science, human development) by the start date, at least 2-3 years of research experience relevant to at least one dimension of the project (e.g., brain measures, population of interest, topic, etc.), and the ability to work rigorously and comfortably with families and children to conduct research. Although not necessary, the ideal candidate will also have demonstrated expertise in developmental fNIRS and/or EEG, knowledge and a strong interest in numerical cognition and/or developmental cognitive neuroscience, a strong command of longitudinal statistical modeling, and competency in working with multiple programming languages. This position is for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal at the end of the year based on funding availability and performance review. Pay/salary is commensurate on experience and negotiable within constraints of funding.
