Make a meaningful impact in local schools by providing critical evaluation services as a contract School Psychologist serving K-12 students. In this position, you’ll focus exclusively on conducting student evaluations—no ongoing case management—across two nearby campuses. This is an ideal opportunity if you’re seeking a stable, part-time schedule with the rewards of supporting student well-being.
Your assignment runs from August 14 through June 4, covering the full academic year. You’ll work four days per week (0.9 FTE), focusing solely on evaluations, with a manageable caseload of approximately 40 to 50 total assessments. This allows you to concentrate on quality assessments, collaborating with educational teams to support student development.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist credential required
- Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Thorough understanding of K-12 psychological assessment processes
- Comfortable working across multiple sites
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Position Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations for students in grades K-12
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and educational teams to interpret evaluation findings
- Develop detailed, actionable reports to guide students’ instructional planning
- Adhere to district, state, and federal guidelines for school psychological services
- Utilize a variety of assessment tools and methods to address diverse student needs
