Job Description As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Ontario, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, conduct routine patrols, and help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in the job state and adherence to Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:30 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:30 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:30 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:30 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:30 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, manage visitor and driver entry procedures, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records. Respond to access-control incidents, alarm activations, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution center entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding unusual activity, policy violations, and security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
