Job Title Sr MuleSoft Integration Consultant (TIBCO, Oracle Fusion, APIGEE, Dell Boomi, SaaS, JMS) – Bridgewater, NJ Location Bridgewater, NJ Overview We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft Integration Consultant to join a prestigious client in Bridgewater, NJ. This full‑time, permanent position requires expertise in MuleSoft, TIBCO, Oracle Fusion, APIGEE, Dell Boomi, SaaS, and JMS. The consultant will recommend technical approaches, design complex integrations, and ensure alignment with the organization’s IT strategy and architecture roadmap. Primary Responsibilities Recommend technical approaches for implementing MuleSoft integrations. Design, develop, test, and document complex integrations using disciplined software development processes. Develop standards and guidelines for MuleSoft integration development to ensure consistent processes. Assist in designing technical solutions for enterprise systems to drive value and adapt to changing business environments. Create middleware design patterns using message routing, content enrichment, filtering, transformation, guaranteed delivery, sequencing, batch processing, error handling, and reconciliation mechanisms. Translate business and technical requirements into integration implementations and provide technical guidance during planning sessions. Recommend appropriate integration architecture designs focusing on end‑to‑end business transactions, ensuring data accuracy, security, visibility, scalability, and performance. Collaborate with integration developers during testing, troubleshoot system errors, and serve as a resource for resolving complex errors. Develop new solutions, evaluate alternatives, and support system security methodology evaluations. Identify suitable integration patterns, design, develop components, and guide project teams through implementation. Work closely with application teams to define technical integration aspects and incorporate established testing processes. Assist with test plan documentation, technical specifications, and functional specifications. Administer integration platforms, monitor, secure REST/SOAP services, and manage API traffic flow. Stay abreast of industry trends to identify growth, improvement, and development opportunities and implement best practices in reliability, stability, performance, and security. Mentor project teams on patterns, standards, framework components, and best use of integration technologies. Qualifications & Experience Six to ten years minimum experience leading integration teams and architecting solutions. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Experience managing and architecting for multiple technical integration project SDLCs end‑to‑end, sometimes simultaneously. Leading technical teams and mentoring junior resources. Strong experience developing integrations in Java/J2EE technologies such as JMS, JDBC. Expertise in designing, developing, and testing REST/JSON API services, SOAP/WSDL web services, XSL/XSLT, SAML, and OAuth. Demonstrated ability to architect solutions within diverse technical teams, SIs, contractors, and internal teams. Desired Skills Architected services integrations with at least two of the following: MuleSoft, IBM, BEA, Oracle Fusion, TIBCO, Dell Boomi, Progress Sonic. Experience with API Management solutions such as Apigee or Mashery. Experience with on‑premise/SaaS COTS solutions for ERP, CRM, e‑Commerce, or mobile (e.g., SAP, Workday, WebSphere, Salesforce, NetSuite, Oracle, Siebel). Knowledge of on‑premise/cloud‑based infrastructures, SDLC pipelines, and deployment/configuration practices. Experience with high‑availability, fault‑tolerance, performance testing, and tuning. Ability to articulate complex ideas, engage in written and verbal communication, and present effectively.
