Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA)

Job Description Job Description We’re a small, family-owned dental practice in Woodinville looking for an amazing Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team! We take dentistry seriously—but not ourselves Our office has a strong sense of community, a loyal patient base, and a team that genuinely enjoys working together. What You’ll Be Doing: As an EFDA in our practice, you’ll play a key clinical role, including: Placing and finishing composite restorations Packing cord and taking final impressions or scans Fabricating and placing temporary crowns Adjusting and cementing crowns/bridges Taking digital X-rays and intraoral scans Assisting with a variety of procedures (restorative, crown & bridge, etc.) Managing infection control and sterilization protocols Helping ensure smooth patient flow and efficient scheduling Providing excellent patient care and education—making patients feel comfortable and cared for Supporting the doctor and team with day-to-day clinical needs What We’re Looking For: Current Washington EFDA certification Strong clinical skills and attention to detail A positive, team-first attitude Someone who is dependable, efficient, and takes pride in their work Great communication skills with both patients and team members Experience with digital dentistry is a plus Why You’ll Love It Here: Tight-knit, supportive team Family-owned and operated—no corporate feel A fun, upbeat atmosphere (we laugh a lot!)
