Packaging Machine Operator

Cleanroom Machine Operator Openings (1st or 3rd - 12 hour shifts)

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging line equipment.
• Perform inspection, hand cartoning or packing, labeling, palletizing, cleanup, and hopper filling.
• Assist in line clearances between batches and changeovers; follow cleanup sheet directions.
• Support troubleshooting of equipment and process issues.
• Maintain accurate and error-free records, including Line Packaging Records (LPR).
• Follow production documents, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
• Monitor operations for deviations, quality risks, or mechanical problems and escalate issues as needed.
• Identify and suggest improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean work area and adhere to department safety rules.
• Attend scheduled trainings and complete annual training requirements.
• Perform duties in other work areas as needed.

Essential Skills

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience in Manufacturing Operations or Packaging, preferably in a GMP facility.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment.
• Basic reading comprehension and math skills for technical instructions and LPR calculations.
• Strong communication skills; able to work independently and in a team.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage diverse tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical production preferred.
• Computer skills preferred.
• Ability to lift materials up to 35 lbs. as needed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Cincinnati, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
