[WEBTOON] Senior Content Programming Manager, On-Platform Curation

WEBTOON Entertainment is a leading global entertainment company and home to some of the world's largest storytelling platforms. As the global leader and pioneer of the mobile webcomic format, WEBTOON Entertainment has transformed comics and visual storytelling for fans and creators. With its CANVAS UGC platform empowering anyone to become a creator, and a growing roster of superstar WEBTOON Originals creators and series, WEBTOON Entertainment’s passionate fandoms are the new face of pop culture. WEBTOON Entertainment adaptations are available on Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Crunchyroll, and other screens around the world, and the company’s content partners include The Walt Disney Company, HYBE, and DC Comics, among many others. Readers don’t come back for an app. They come back for the next episode of a story they can’t stop thinking about. The Content Growth Team’s job is to make sure every reader finds that story, and then the next one. We’re looking for a senior content programmer to own how our series are discovered, pitched, and sustained inside our app. You’ll sit at the intersection of editorial taste, readership data, and product. You’ll read a series and know who it’s for, why they’ll love it, and exactly which panel and line will hook them. Then you’ll prove it with data and build the programming system that scales it. This is not an external marketing role. Think of it as curation at platform scale. You’ll decide where our recommendation models and automated components do the work best, where a human hand-pick or tailored pitch makes the difference, and how the two come together into a holistic and irresistible discovery experience for the reader.
