Construction Manager

Greater Pittsburgh Area (Onsite)

We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Manager to support our operations in the Greater Pittsburgh area . This role is responsible for leading both field execution and project management efforts across complex repair and restoration projects.

As a Construction Manager, you will play a key role in delivering projects that make our nation's structures stronger and last longer-leading teams in the field while maintaining full ownership of project performance.

Key Responsibilities

Field Leadership & Execution

• Lead and oversee field teams, including Foremen and union craft workers
• Manage daily field operations to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and with high quality
• Conduct pre-project and pre-task planning , ensuring alignment across all teams
• Promote and uphold PULLMAN's Safety 24/7 culture
• Train, mentor, and support the development of field personnel

Project Management & Operations

• Manage self-performed concrete repair and restoration projects from start to finish
• Maintain profit and loss responsibility , including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Develop and manage project schedules in collaboration with field leadership
• Prepare contracts and support negotiations and revisions as needed
• Coordinate with Estimating and Business Development teams to support bid reviews and proposal development
• Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle

Coordination & Oversight

• Oversee multiple projects and ensure alignment between field execution and financial performance
• Monitor production, track progress, and identify opportunities for improvement
• Ensure all project documentation and reporting is accurate and timely

Qualifications

• 7-12+ years of construction leadership experience , including both field leadership and project management
• Proven experience managing projects in the $1M-$5M+ range
• Experience with concrete repair, structural strengthening, waterproofing, façade restoration, or similar scopes
• Experience working with and leading union labor crews
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project execution
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management/forecasting tools
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Willingness to travel 20-30% as needed
