This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys turning engineering concepts into practical designs while working alongside a team that values innovation, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will contribute to projects involving mechanical design, fabrication, and manufacturing from concept through completion. Key Responsibilities Create and modify detailed mechanical drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks to support engineering, fabrication, and manufacturing projects. Apply knowledge of metal fabrication, welding, material applications, and assembly processes to develop practical and manufacturable designs. Prepare and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to support project execution and production requirements. Coordinate with engineers, manufacturing personnel, and project teams to incorporate design changes, resolve drawing discrepancies, and meet project schedules. Utilize Microsoft Office 365 and ERP systems to organize project information, support work order creation, and assist with inventory and material tracking. Qualifications Experience with SolidWorks CAD software, including mechanical design and drawing creation. Proficiency in SolidWorks Simulation for evaluating mechanical designs and supporting engineering decisions. Background in 2D mechanical drafting and 3D mechanical modeling. Familiarity with structural engineering concepts, hydraulics, and manufacturing operations. Understanding of engineering specifications, production requirements, and mechanical assembly methods. Ability to interpret technical information and communicate effectively with engineering and production teams. Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills. CAD certification is preferred or a plus.
