Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (06:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years as an OR Circulating RN License: Required Certifications: BLS (ACLS preferred) Must-Have: Ability to work in any surgical service line except Cardiovascular, Neurosurgery, and Orthopedic Surgery Description: The position involves working in the operating room. The nurse will be required to handle various surgical service lines. A minimum of two years of experience as an operating room circulating nurse is essential. First-time travelers will be considered based on appropriate experience. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts from Monday to Friday with rotating days off. There may be some weekend call responsibilities, typically 2-3 times per month. Flexibility in accommodating block schedules is not available. Requests for time off must be made prior to finalization of placement. Applicants should expect to work some holidays. The nurse will support interdisciplinary patient care.
