• Job Title: Senior Network Engineer
• Location: US Non -Location - Remote

• Experience Required:
• Network Engineering, preferably in enterprise environments.

• Technical Expertise: Primary

• Networking Technologies & Design:
  • In-depth knowledge of routers, switches, virtualization, storage, and storage networking.
  • Experience with zoning, load balancers, and network security.
  • Strong understanding of Cisco Routing & Switching, spine-leaf architecture.
• Security & SDN Solutions:
  • Hands-on experience with SDN solutions such as Cisco ACI , VMware VNX .
  • Proficient in network security solutions including firewalls , VPNs , IDS/IPS , and Web Application Firewalls .
  • Familiarity with Cisco ISE , Cisco WAAS/WCCP , and Cisco UCS .
  • Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and security platforms.
• Performance & Automation:
  • Expertise in QoS for voice and video prioritization.
  • Knowledge of network automation , segmentation/isolation, and encryption architectures.
  • Experience in standardizing and automating network configuration and deployment.
• Tools & Scripting:
  • Strong documentation skills: technical documents, diagrams, solution specs, guidelines, processes, and procedures.
  • Scripting experience for automation and monitoring.
  • Proficient in software/hardware troubleshooting and system monitoring.

• Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Infrastructure leadership, IS teams, and business units to engineer and plan technical projects.
• Analyze business needs, gather requirements, and design, install, troubleshoot, and support technical solutions.
• Develop and document models, diagrams, and procedures for engineering activities.
• Participate in meetings and calls with customers and IT staff to qualify opportunities and technical solutions.
• Create CAPEX requests and track hardware/software orders.
• Build, deploy, and support solutions in collaboration with engineering and operations teams.
• Communicate key decisions and ensure IT solutions align with architectural standards.

• Technical Skills Secondary Nice to have

• Cisco certifications in Routing and Switching.
• Experience with network automation and scripting .

• Soft Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to communicate professionally in a corporate/global environment.

• Work Conditions:

• Availability to work nights and weekends as needed for implementations and escalations.
