Materials Handler

Materials HandlerAllient Inc. is currently seeking a Materials Handler to join our team in Tulsa, Oklahoma! The Materials Handler will handle and maintain the flow of materials and products in the manufacturing areas according to established guidelines. They will provide information for recording movement of incoming and outgoing materials and supplies.Responsibilities:Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventoryCompares information on requisitions, invoices, and shipping notices to material received or issued to verify accuracy of orderGenerates requests for procurement of materialInspects, accepts, or rejects material received when neededLocates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production ordersMaintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and suppliesMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent0 to 2 years of relevant experienceSkills of organization and attention to detail preferredPhysical Demands & Environment:Occasionally will have to lift and/or transport items weighing between 10 and 40 poundsPredominantly in a stockroom or warehouse environment with frequent exposure to the production floor and engineering labWhile on the production floor or engineering lab, employee may be subjected to moving mechanical parts and may be required to put on precautionary, protective wear such as gogglesAllient Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
