Assistant Corporate Controller

Assistant Corporate ControllerOur client is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Corporate Controller to support the Corporate Controller in leading corporate accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional with strong GAAP/IFRS expertise and a passion for driving accuracy, efficiency, and business insight.Pay Range: $100,000 to $120,000 per yearLocation: West Chester OH (onsite)Key ResponsibilitiesSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; ensure timely and accurate reportingPrepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidated financial statementsEnsure compliance with GAAP, J-SOX, banking covenants, and internal controlsAssist with internal/external audits and maintain accounting policiesSupport treasury activities, cash flow forecasting, and insurance administrationPartner with Joint Venture stakeholders on reporting, compliance, and intercompany accountingSupervise accounting staff and promote process improvements, automation, and system enhancementsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's preferred)6–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including team leadershipSolid knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, financial reporting, and ERP systemsExperience with audits, internal controls, and corporate accounting operationsPreferred Skills:CPAERP implementation, data tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau)Process improvement methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma)Solid analytical, communication, and collaboration skillsWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status.
