Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate care has been delegated
• Support nursing leadership to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
• Monitor and manage appropriate resources related to patient care at the unit level
• Ensure competency of clinical staff through ongoing oversight and accountability

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
• Demonstrated ability to assess and plan patient care in an acute care setting
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a larger acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with advanced surgical or cardiovascular patient populations
