Senior Systems Administrator

Support the National Programs Intelligence Systems & Application Operating Unit. Orchestration, sustainment, and evolution of a portfolio of mission applications and services. Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux servers, virtual servers, and application software upgrades. Perform Operations and Maintenance tasks including patching, application monitoring, and customer support. Troubleshoot network and application performance issues and recommend appropriate action. Collaborate with project team members, product subject matter experts, end users, and software engineers. Requirements BA/BS degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; or Masters degree with 3+ years of experience. Proven experience in system administration, specifically with Linux, including RHEL and Ubuntu, and UNIX in classified environments. Some Windows server administration experience would be good to have. Hands‑on experience with Oracle Database installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Experience managing both virtual and physical servers. Experience performing system monitoring. Experience with backup management. Experience implementing performance optimizations. Currently valid DoD 8570 certification such as Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP, or similar security certification.
