Los Alamitos ED Clinical Associate Physician - Per Diem (43%)

Your Role on the Team We are seeking qualified candidates for a Clinical Associate (per diem, 43%) to provide patient care services in the Emergency Department at UCI Health - Los Alamitos with potential to work at other sites in the future. Location UCI Health - Los Alamitos Schedule Provide availability for at least 2‑3 shifts per month. Direct Patient Care Examine, diagnose and provide treatment for Emergency Department patients. Complete all necessary paperwork and patient documentation within departmental standards. Complete patient encounter forms and meet the requirements outlined in the Professional Fee Billing (IL372) Compliance Plan. Maintain UCI Medical Staff Privileges and UCI Medical Group active membership. Required — What It Takes to be Successful Ability to work with minimal supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fluid, fast‑paced work environment. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Ability to problem solve objectively. Must possess an MD or DO and board certification/board eligibility in Emergency Medicine. California DEA registration. California Medical License or California Medical License eligibility. Special Conditions Ability to obtain UCI medical staff credentials. Compensation Per diem rates for Clinical Associate: $210/hr .
