Job Description

  • Lead gage R&R studies and develop detailed inspection plans
  • Drive APQP activities, including PFMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP execution
  • Partner with engineering and manufacturing to enhance product quality
  • Implement and optimize statistical process control (SPC) systems
  • Train teams on new quality methods, systems, and best practices
  • Manage and improve Quality Management System (QMS) performance
  • Conduct root cause analysis (8D) and support corrective action initiatives
  • Assist with audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or manufacturing environments
  • Measuring tight tolerances (must have)
  • Strong knowledge of ISO9001, ISO 13485, and PPAP processes
  • Hands-on experience with machining operations and inspection methods
  • Proficiency in SPC, MSA, and statistical analysis tools
  • Experience with gage calibration, geometric tolerancing, and MRB processes
  • Demonstrated ability to lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts
