Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Family/Adult Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant- Mesquite, TX
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), or Physician Assistant (PA) to join an established internal medicine practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who values personalized patient care and enjoys working in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, examinations, and evaluations
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in adult patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results
- Prescribe medications in accordance with applicable regulations
- Perform physical examinations and minor office-based procedures
- Coordinate patient care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
- Educate patients on disease prevention, wellness, and health maintenance
- Participate in quality improvement and patient care initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current Family Nurse Practitioner certification (ANCC or AANP)
- 5+ years of experience in internal medicine with an adult patient population
- Active Texas state license as an NP or PA
- Current DEA license, as applicable
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Previous EMR experience preferred
- Internal medicine, family practice, or adult patient care experience preferred
