• Compensation Plan: Depending on qualifications/experience, this opportunity can offer a base salary up to $150,000 and also paid overtime at 1.5x.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary:

The Sr. Structural Engineer, PE - Buildings will work closely with the drafting staff to design and analyze structural components, review detailed drawings, and collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure project success.

Responsibilities:

• Develop structural designs and calculations for low-rise commercial and industrial buildings.
• Coordinate with drafting staff who will create the detailed drawings and specifications using CAD and BIM software.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and support investigative engineering efforts.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design integrity and compliance with codes.
• Review construction documents, review of shop drawings and product submittals.
• Provide technical support during construction phases and address any structural issues that arise. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 4+ years of experience.
• Experience with buildings.
• Experience with building codes and industry standards.
• Experience with investigative engineering and forensic analysis.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software. Familiarity with Risa 3D, Enercalc and Woodworks is a plus.

• Excellent communication and project management skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
