Rope Access Level I Technician - Ferndale, WA We are seeking a Rope Access Level I Technician to perform visual inspections via rope access under the direction of a Project Manager, Team Leader, or independently. The ideal candidate will have extensive field technician experience and supervisory experience within a Rope Access team. This position offers an opportunity for growth in industry services. Salary & Benefits Base wage: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour, with compensation based on skills, experience, and qualifications. What You’ll Do Maintain climbing logbook per SPRAT/IRATA guidelines Prepare NDE reports and document data in a clear and timely manner Interface with clients on technical matters involving Rope Access and NDE procedures and capabilities Provide on-the-job training and guidance of assigned trainees Maintain open lines of communication with coworkers, clients, and subcontractors Organize and report test results, sending information to office for data processing Stay abreast of technology advancements in the NDE/Rope Access industries What It Takes To Be Successful Current SPRAT/IRATA Certification Level I (required) Minimum of 1-2 years field experience (required) Prior ASNT Level II certification in MT, PT and/or UTT (required) High school diploma or equivalent (required) Valid TWIC card (required) Valid driver's license and reliable driving record (required) HH Safety Training (preferred) Ability to pass a physical examination Proficient with Microsoft Office applications Ability to provide clear and technical guidance to other technicians and subcontractors Problem-solving skills in the field Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Intertek is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer that values inclusion and diversity.
