Experienced Fire Sprinkler Service Technician

What you will do Receive service calls from Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions. Contact customer representative and ascertain equipment/systems problems. Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial and residential applications. These include but are not limited to wet (steel, copper and CPVC), dry, pre‑action, deluge and fire pumps. How you will do it Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices and bulletins, modification notices, etc. to diagnose and repair equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics and operational product manuals. Demonstrate a high level of customer service, with strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly. Work alone as required. What we look for Required 7-10 years of documented experience in the Fire Sprinkler industry performing service and repair to sprinkler and suppression systems. High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements. Overnight travel may be required. Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs. Adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times. Possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company requirements. Follow verbal and written instructions. Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs. Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, high‑lift equipment up to 60 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings. Follow, read and understand all safety requirements of the company and the customer. Preferred NICET Level II certification. Backflow certification. HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $29.80‑40.86 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
