Position Details

We are on the lookout for a diligent and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging specialists dedicated to delivering high-quality care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will carry out diagnostic evaluations, collaborate with an experienced and supportive team, and bring comfort and reassurance to patients through accurate and timely imaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform various ultrasound examinations including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout every procedure, providing thorough explanations with kindness and clarity
• Work alongside radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the provision of high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues that may arise
• Keep meticulous records of procedures and maintain current patient data within our electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging methods and best practices

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

• Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging and patient positioning
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Able to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team
