Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of RN ICU experience with multispecialty ICU (CCU/SICU/MICU/NEURO/CT) License: MA License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification Must-Have: - Effective verbal and written communication skills - Physical ability to meet job responsibilities - Basic computer proficiency - Telemetry experience, including the ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips Description: As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our multi-specialty Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. Supported by a collaborative and dedicated nursing team, you will have the opportunity to provide the highest quality care to your patients. You will ensure that patients receive the attention and expertise they deserve. Deliver nursing care in the ICU unit, which includes assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients. Communicate effectively with various health care team members, patients, and their families. Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues. Update and manage patient records accurately. Enter and interpret computerized data and information. Follow guidelines and policies established by the nursing department. Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects.
