Chaplain Albany, OR Specialty: Behavioral Health Position Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay: $1960 - $2362 | Shift: 5x8 Days Are you a compassionate Chaplain with a calling to support patients and their families during the most critical times? Do you excel in providing spiritual care and guidance in a variety of settings? Join our healthcare partner's hospice team and make a profound impact on the lives of those you serve. As a Chaplain, you will be an integral part of the hospice care team, offering spiritual support and guidance to patients and their families. Your role will involve:
- Providing spiritual care and counseling to patients and families in home settings, skilled nursing facilities, and other care environments
- Collaborating with the hospice team to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Offering bereavement support and spiritual guidance
- Maintaining documentation and records of spiritual care services provided
- Traveling to various care locations as needed
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or a bachelor's degree in an unrelated field with two years of relevant experience
- Ordained, commissioned, licensed, or endorsed by a pastoral/spiritual community
- Experience or training in pastoral/spiritual care, such as Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance, with the ability to travel for work assignments
- Master's degree preferred
