Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT in Pensacola, FL. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while exploring a new location. This role supports acute and rehabilitative services within a health system with specialty programs in cardiology, neurology, oncology, orthopedics, behavioral health, and rehabilitative medicine.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Florida Occupational Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in acute care or inpatient rehabilitation preferred.
• Experience treating patients with neurologic, orthopaedic, or cardiopulmonary diagnoses preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• CARF, stroke, or post-acute care experience preferred.
• Experience with ADL retraining, therapeutic modalities, and discharge planning preferred.

• Shift hours: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions to support patient independence and safe discharge. Work within an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement plan of care, document progress, and educate patients and families. Contribute to quality and patient safety initiatives consistent with facility standards and accreditation requirements.
