Assistant Manager/Restaurant Manager
Taco John's has a position open for an Assistant Manager/Restaurant Manager. This full-time position supports the General Manager (GM) and is in charge of the restaurant when the GM is not present. Most of our positions have a senior position attached to it. If during the interview process, we feel that you are a better fit for the senior position, we will let you know.
Located at: 423 Church St, Ottumwa, IA

Work/home life balance is also an important part of our culture. We close on Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas and close early on July 4th and on New Year's Eve so our employees can spend time with their families.
Responsibilities include:
- Helps with the daily operations of restaurant
- Aids in the hiring and training a great team
- Manages all areas in front and back of house
- Ensures food quality
- Manages food and labor costs
- Guarantees the team provides great Customer Service
- Maintains exceptional cleanliness of the restaurant, inside and out

Requirements
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' restaurant management experience preferred
- Food service experience a plus
- Demonstrated ability to drive customer satisfaction, financial performance and build a great team
- Must be reliable and willing to work in a fast-paced environment
