Job Title: Registered Nurse First Assist Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: First Assist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years of current First Assist operating room experience License: Massachusetts RN License Certifications: - Active American Heart Association BLS - Active Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) Must-Have: - Bachelor of Science degree - Meditech Expanse experience (highly preferred) - Traveler must have their own vehicle Description: This position requires a registered nurse to serve as a first assist in the operating room. The candidate will work day shifts from Monday to Friday. The focus will be on providing support during surgical procedures. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Requests made after the offer may lead to a rescinded offer. Travelers who reside within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered. All requested time off must be noted and verified at upload. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. It is essential that the profile includes a permanent address. All candidates must have voicemails set up for communication. Supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment is required. The candidate must be in possession of the required BLS and CNOR certifications.
