Advanced Threat Management, Security Design, and Implementation Architect

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Architect specializing in Data Protection. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data protection strategies to safeguard sensitive information against unauthorized access, breaches, and other security threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement advanced threat management strategies to identify, mitigate, and respond to security threats.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive data protection strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Design and implement encryption, data masking, and other data protection technologies to secure sensitive information.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential data security risks.
• Collaborate with IT, legal, and compliance teams to ensure data protection measures are aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Oversee the implementation of data protection solutions across all systems and platforms.
• Monitor and respond to data security incidents and breaches and develop mitigation strategies.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other team members on data protection best practices.
• Stay current with the latest data protection trends, threats, and technologies, and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive security architectures that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Lead security design initiatives for new and existing systems, ensuring robust protection against cyber threats.
• Oversee the implementation of security controls, policies, and procedures across the organization.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and a strategic, analytical mindset, and be able to decipher the complex cybersecurity landscapes.
• Conduct strategies for vulnerability management and lead initiatives around effective VM in the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Provide expert guidance on the latest security trends, tools, and technologies to enhance the organization's security posture.
• Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on security best practices and threat management.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards in conducting professional responsibilities

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on data protection.
• Strong knowledge of data protection principles, practices, and technologies, including encryption, tokenization, and data loss prevention (DLP).
• Experience with security frameworks and standards such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing data protection solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about data protection challenges.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CIPP, or equivalent is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in information security or a related field.
• Preferred certification in multiple SIEM and SOAR solution implementation (MS Sentinel, Splunk, Phantom, Swimlane, QRADAR)

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or OSCP.
