Physician-Palliative Care

To provide medical expertise to support patients in living the healthiest lives possible. Responsibilities Work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to quality care and excellent patient experience. Assist patients with goals of care, symptom management, and related palliative services. Collaborate with advanced practice providers during shifts. Use EPIC EMR for patient documentation and care coordination. Participate in a 30+ provider hospitalist group and experienced ICU team at a Level1 Trauma Center. Maintain a flexible schedule that prioritizes work/life balance. Seek opportunities for mentorship and professional growth within the team. Compensation and Benefits Competitive compensation of $130,000 for .5 FTE. Incentives: $12,500 starting bonus, up to $10,000 relocation bonus, and up to $50,000 student loan repayment bonus (PSLF eligible). Paid time off, license reimbursement, malpractice insurance, annual CME allowance, and a comprehensive benefits package. Coverage for medical, dental, vision, retirement savings plans, and coverage for a pet. Benefits extend to providers (PRN are not eligible). Qualifications MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine. Residency training in Family Medicine or Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Board certification or eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Active, unobstructed Montana medical license, or ability to obtain one. Successful completion of Intermountain Health’s credentialing process. Passion for palliative care. Location and Work Hours Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital, Billings, Montana. 20 scheduled weekly hours.
