Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Corona, Queens Position Summary: We are excited to expand services at Plaza del Sol, our Corona-Queens Family Health Center, and open an entire new floor. In line with this expansion, we are seeking Clinical Therapists (LCSW) who will provide clinical assessment and individual therapy for patients. Minimum Qualifications Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker. 1-2 years of experience providing counseling. Bilingual Spanish/English. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment as part of an interdisciplinary team. Ability to identify high‑risk psychosocial factors in patients and families that impact health status. Key Duties Provides bio‑psychosocial and clinical diagnostic assessments. Conducts individual psychotherapy and counseling services for children within public schools. Maintains skills and knowledge in clinical theory and practice to help patients overcome dependencies, adapt to life, and make changes. Provides counseling to family members to assist with understanding and supporting patients. Engages in crisis intervention when necessary and refers patients or family to community resources. Provides consultation to medical providers and collaborates with physicians to develop and implement treatment and intervention programs. Participates in clinical team meetings. Starting Compensation Minimum $85,000 per year; maximum $94,000 per year. Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule Onsite, Corona, Queens; Monday to Friday shift.
