OneMain Financial, the country's largest lending-exclusive financial company, is seeking a dedicated Leave of Absence Specialist to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. This role reports directly to the Health and Welfare Benefits Manager and is responsible for managing leave and ADA accommodation processes within federal and state law guidelines and company policies. You will provide exceptional support to team members, managers, and internal partners throughout the leave cycle and ADA interactive process.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Leave of Absence Programs and policies, ensuring proper engagement with team members, HR partners, management, and third-party administrators.
• Engage in the interactive process for ADA Accommodations and the Pregnancy Workers Fairness Act.
• Process a high volume of leave actions accurately and timely in company payroll, timekeeping, and HR systems.
• Collaborate with Workers Compensation vendors and HRIS team for successful vendor interfaces.
• Develop, generate, and present reports to analyze leave data and trends.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal leave laws.

Work Location

Our corporate office in Fort Worth, TX, offers a hybrid work schedule with onsite presence required at least three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in US disability/leave administration and ADA accommodation.
• Deep understanding of federal and state disability and paid family leave laws.
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
• Ability to take initiative and make decisions under pressure.

Preferences

• Experience with Workday.
• Project management skills.
• Experience in a high-volume environment or large employer.
• Experience in administering a CA VDI Plan.
