Accountant I

Temporary/Contract Position

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Accounting reconciliations, process and post assigned daily transaction activity as needed and assigned.
• Scanning reconciliations and work papers as needed.
• Responsible for prompt and timely payment of vendors in accordance with established policy and procedures.
• Responsible for assigned monthly duties associated with accounts payable including but not limited setting up new vendors, Sales Tax, Fixed Assets, etc.
• Other monthly or weekly duties as assigned including projects.
• Provides the best service to our customers with innovative and creative solutions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 4 years prior experience with large business accounting systems.
• Education may substitute for experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, analyzing and interpreting data.
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to deal with time constraints and strong attention to detail.
• Extended hours sitting and performing computer tasks may be required.
