Mandatory Experience:

• Emergency Room RN
• Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Evaluates outcomes, consults with other specialists and ancillary departments as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care and flow through ER.
• Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations.
• Communicates with ED physicians about changes in patient's status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies.
• Able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Must have current Registered Nurse license within the State of Illinois; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
• ENPC, TNCC, and/or TNS preferred.
• Schedule will be night shift (6:30pm - 7:00am), every Saturday/Sunday/Monday.
