Propane Bobtail Driver

The Propane Bobtail Driver is responsible for safe and timely delivery of propane to customers. The Delivery Driver delivers, loads, and unloads propane while providing exceptional customer service. Drivers also uphold the highest standards for safety, conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance. This is a full‑time position, available year‑round or seasonally depending on candidate availability and business needs. Job Duties Transfer, collect, load, and deliver propane from containers (bulk trucks, tanks, cylinders) to customers. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle. Leverage technology to monitor and track inventory, tank levels, and container sizes; accurately record and print delivery tickets; complete daily driver reports. Maintain equipment to safety standards; report mechanical issues; conduct pre‑ and post‑vehicle inspections, site inspections, and visual tank inspections. Collaborate with Dispatcher for routing and scheduling; notify dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling, or safety issues immediately. Work overtime hours as required by business needs. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 1 year of delivery driver experience preferred. CDL Class A or B. Tanker and Hazmat endorsements preferred. Current DOT medical certification. Legal authorization to work in the US. This position does not sponsor visas now or in the future. The hourly rate for this position is $27.00 - $34.00 per hour. Pay is based on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
