Position Summary The Assistant Glazier is an entry‑level role supporting glaziers on basic commercial projects, with a strong focus on learning and development. This position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and following directions, and offers an excellent opportunity to build foundational glazing skills. This position has a daily start time of 5:00 a.m. What You’ll Do Assist the crew with glass and metal installations. Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment for daily tasks. Learn job site procedures and apply basic glazing techniques while anticipating team needs and next steps. Load and unload materials and equipment for all teams. Clean and maintain the work area and company vehicle daily. Support Glaziers and the Lead Glazier throughout all phases of installation. Ensure proper return and storage of unused materials. Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times. Complete and submit all required daily reports on time in Procore. What We’re Looking For HS Diploma or GED Prior experience as a Commercial Glazier or similar construction role. Valid Driver’s License Team‑oriented attitude and commitment to safety. Eager to learn operation of machinery including power tools, saws, hand tools, polishing equipment, forklift, and other miscellaneous equipment. Strong sense of urgency and problem‑solving skills. Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing in English and Spanish. Physical Requirements Ability to walk, stand, or climb ladders for extended periods during site visits. Lift and move glass, tools, and equipment regularly. Comfortable navigating active construction sites, sometimes in varying weather conditions.
