Director, Product Portfolio Management - Infectious Disease
Scorpion Therapeutics
Role: Director of Product Portfolio Management for Infectious Disease at Labcorp, leading lifecycle strategy, forecasting, and commercialization of diagnostic products.
Responsibilities: develop portfolio roadmaps, leverage disease expertise and regulatory insights, monitor scientific and market trends, create business cases, manage strategic partnerships, and ensure operational readiness for product launches. Stakeholders include R&D, Market Access, and commercial teams; acts as product spokesperson and customer advocate.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 7+ years in product management or portfolio strategy within diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences; advanced degrees preferred. High-Value: Infectious Disease diagnostics, product lifecycle management, commercialization, market access, forecasting, and regulatory pathways. Skills include strategic thinking, cross-functional leadership, scientific fluency, analytical capability, stakeholder influence, and operational acumen.
Work setup: hybrid (minimum of 3 days on-site weekly) based in Burlington or Durham, NC.
