Position Overview Join a collegial team of 10 physicians, 7 APPs and an experienced support staff. Ortho Idaho is the Official Sports Medicine provider for Idaho State University Regional High School Sports Medicine program. Established Athletic Trainer outreach program. Dedicated OR time and surgical PA support. 8‑hour day | Limited rotating call – 6 days a month or less. MAKO Joint Replacement Arm. 3 Da Vinci Robotic Surgical Systems: 1‑Xi, 2‑Da Vinci 5 Hospital offers specialty support including Interventional Radiology, Critical Care, and fully staffed ICU/Hospitalist Services – 205 bed hospital, including 20 ICU beds, Level II Trauma Center. Our providers use Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation, reduce administrative burden, improve patient flow, and ensure accurate coding leading to better work‑life balance and revenue. Teaching opportunity (Medical Students & FM Residents). Excellent work + life balance. Responsibilities Provide orthopedic sports medicine care to patients. Participate in surgical procedures including MAKO Joint Replacement and robotic surgeries. Perform clinical care within a supportive multidisciplinary team. Engage with patient education and athletic program oversight. Maintain charting and documentation using Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology. Provide teaching to medical students and family medicine residents. Participate in limited call: up to 6 days a month. Qualifications Must be BE/BC in Orthopedic Surgery and fellowship trained in operative Sports Medicine. Current board certification is required.
