Industrial Electrical Engineer - Linford in Stanford

Job Description My client is seeking an Industrial Electrical Engineer in the Linford area. As an Industrial Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for delivering both preventative and reactive maintenance of electrical systems and equipment within an industrial environment. This role offers a diverse range of daily challenges and opportunities, requiring you to perform fault finding, corrective maintenance, repairs, and the installation or replacement of electrical systems and equipment. All work must comply with 17th Edition Wiring Regulations and adhere strictly to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. This is a permanent position, paying circa £52k including shift allowance. The shift pattern is continental, a mixture of days and nights. Previous industrial electrical experience is essential. Key Responsibilities Deliver preventative and reactive maintenance of electrical systems and equipment. Perform fault finding, corrective maintenance, repairs, installation and replacement of electrical systems. Ensure compliance with 17th Edition Wiring Regulations and Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. Use diagnostic and testing equipment and maintain accurate documentation. Required Skills & Experience Industrial electrical maintenance experience. Electrical fault finding and troubleshooting. Preventative and reactive maintenance of electrical systems. Installation and repair of electrical systems. Knowledge of BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Valid UK driving licence. Commitment to safety and adherence to protocols. Experience with electrical testing and diagnostic tools, mobile communication devices. Basic IT skills for reporting and documentation. NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 compliance.
