We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team.Job Title: Senior Mechanical EngineerLocation(s): New York, NY or San Francisco, CA Skillset required:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or similar.5+ years primarily in consumer electronics and similar products.Advanced solid/surface modeling, SolidWorks preferred.DFM/DFA across injection molding, sheet metal stamping, machining, and casting.Vendor-ready documentation: 3D CAD, 2D drawings, BOMs, assembly instructions.Prototyping (3D printing, casting, rapid tooling) plus hands-on electronics/firmware prototyping.Confident client-facing presentation and storytelling.Roles and Responsibilities:Owns mechanical engineering activities autonomously across interdisciplinary projects, from concept through design-for-manufacturability to production.Leads client conversations within their domain, framing trade-offs to guide client choices.Mentors junior engineers and contributes to the global engineering community of practice.Opportunity to lead small project teams and contribute to business development (proposals, pitches).Profile:Senior Consultant | C2Ampcus is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
