Cleaning Staff
Duties
The Cleaning Staff will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain the facility's cleanliness and hygiene standards. This includes:
- Performing cleaning processes for lodging units, common areas, offices, bathhouses, laundry facilities, etc.
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors; dusting, polishing, cleaning, and moving furniture.
- Cleaning walls, doors, ceilings, fans, light fixtures, exterior of vents, windows, sills, tracks, blinds, and curtains.
- Removing trash, placing it in dumpsters, and replacing liners.
- Cleaning washers and dryers and ensuring machines are operational.
- Cleaning common area spaces including bathhouses, vending rooms, ice machines, laundry rooms, break rooms, walkways, corridors, stairwells, office spaces, lounges, storerooms, and storage spaces.
- Placing the proper number of amenities in rooms including consumables/non-consumables, linen, kitchen, and bathroom.
- Removing and replacing bed linen, inspecting mattresses and pull-out sofas, and moving/re-positioning beds upon guest checkout, weekly, or at a guest's request.
- Cleaning all surfaces including vanities, mirrors, cabinets, bathtubs, and showers, etc.
- Performing deep cleaning as required by program standards.
- Communicating with the front desk when identifying lost and found items by annotating all relevant information to facilitate retrieval of the item for that specific guest.
- Maintaining key control for assigned key and reporting any issues immediately to supervisor.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
