Overview International Freight Specialist – Strategic, High-Impact Opportunity Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year Responsibilities Oversee and optimize domestic and international freight operations across multiple transportation modes (outbound and inbound). Coordinate shipments across multiple systems; monitor freight activity; resolve transportation issues; maintain carrier relationships; ensure timely delivery performance. Collaborate with logistics service providers, carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to support efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods. Contribute to strategic initiatives such as carrier evaluations, contract discussions, freight optimization, and cost reduction efforts. Audit freight invoices; ensure documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance; develop and maintain standard operating procedures. Track transportation performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve service levels, efficiency, and overall freight spend. Work with cross-functional teams to manage day-to-day operations and support a growing global distribution network. Travel weekly between facilities in Fontana and San Clemente, California (hybrid role). Qualifications Experience managing international freight operations across ocean, air, and ground transportation. Strong understanding of shipping documentation, carrier management, logistics processes, and transportation best practices. Ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and contribute as a key team member in a fast-paced supply chain environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with vendors, operations teams, distribution leadership, and cross-functional partners.
