Job Summary:
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) registered nurse position is based in Santa Rosa, California. This opportunity involves providing specialized critical care to patients within a Level II Trauma Center, supporting a patient census of approximately 20. The role emphasizes managing complex patient conditions, including neuro, cardiac, trauma, and surgical cases, with a focus on high-acuity care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California nursing license, 2 years of ICU experience, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certifications, and experience charting with Epic.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma, neuro, cardiac, and surgical patient care, and previous Critical Care experience in a Level II Trauma Center.
• Float: Float rotation may be required between the main hospital and sister facility approximately 16-20 miles away.
• Additional Information:
  • RTO restrictions must be included at the time of submission.
  • Willingness to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) required.
  • Candidate must have at least 2 years of ICU experience and be able to handle complex patient management.
  • Candidate references covering at least 1 year during the last 3 years are required.
  • Certification copy submission is required as part of the application process.
