Description: Start date for the position is flexible. This role requires the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment. The nurse will be responsible for a patient ratio of 1:4. Weekend shifts are required every other week. Flexibility in scheduling is essential; block scheduling is not available. RTO must be discussed during the interview process. Hospital is an acute care facility with a focus on comprehensive emergency services. Patients will include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census averages around 10 patients with approximately 24 visits per day. The unit consists of 12 rooms and 12 beds. Charting is performed using a specific system; familiarity with the system is preferred. The nurse will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary support services including therapy and social services. Key responsibilities include management of various patient conditions, administration of emergency medications, and monitoring of patients with complex needs. Experience in trauma and critical care scenarios is beneficial.
