If you enjoy staying organized and keeping warehouse operations running efficiently, this Receiving Clerk opportunity may be a great fit. We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. In this role, you'll help ensure incoming shipments are received accurately, inventory is properly documented, and products are ready to move through the warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming shipments and deliveries
- Verify quantities, labels, packing slips, and purchase orders for accuracy
- Enter receiving information into the warehouse computer system
- Inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate inventory and receiving records
- Assist with picking, packing, and stocking inventory as needed
- Operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment as assigned
- Keep the receiving area clean, organized, and safe
- Work closely with warehouse and shipping teams to ensure efficient operations
Qualifications
- Previous receiving and computer experience required
- Warehouse receiving experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred or willingness to learn
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to accurately process shipments in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lift heavy materials throughout the shift
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse duties
