In fact, wireless technology touches every aspect of our daily lives.The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for coordinating and overseeing inventory accuracy across multiple warehouse locations. This role does not perform physical counts but ensures that cycle counting programs are executed properly, discrepancies are investigated, and corrective actions are implemented.The position serves as the central point of control for inventory integrity, working cross-functionally with warehouse operations, purchasing, and finance to maintain accurate, auditable inventory records.This position is located on-site in Hunt Valley, MD.Key ResponsibilitiesCycle Count Program ManagementDevelop, maintain, and monitor ABC cycle counting programs across all warehouse locationsSchedule and assign counts to site teamsEnsure adherence to cycle count frequency and completion targetsAudit count results for accuracy and compliance with SOPsTrack and report count completion and accuracy KPIsInventory Discrepancy Research & ResolutionInvestigate inventory variances using system data (transactions, adjustments, history)Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on discrepanciesPartner with warehouse teams to validate findings and implement correctionsRecommend and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)Identify trends and systemic issues impacting inventory accuracySystem & Data ManagementMaintain inventory accuracy within NetSuite and RF-SMARTReview and approve inventory adjustments in accordance with company policyEnsure proper use of: lot control, bin management, transaction integritySupport master data accuracy (item setup, bins, units of measure)Reporting & AnalyticsProduce weekly and monthly inventory reports including: accuracy % by location, shrink / variance reporting, cycle count completion ratesBuild dashboards to monitor: high-risk SKUs, repeated variances, location performanceProvide actionable insights to leadershipProcess ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve: inventory accuracy, cycle count efficiency, warehouse processes impacting inventoryDevelop and maintain inventory control SOPsStandardize processes across all locationsSupport system enhancements and testingCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with: warehouse managers, operations leadership, purchasing & supply chain, finance / accountingProvide guidance and training to site teams on: cycle count procedures, inventory best practices, compliance expectationsRequired Qualifications2 - 4 years of inventory control experience in a distribution or warehouse environmentExperience managing multi-site inventory operationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced Excel / data analysis skillsExperience with ERP/WMS systemsPreferred QualificationsExperience with NetSuite and RF-SMARTKnowledge of: ABC cycle counting, root cause analysis (RCA) methodologies, inventory accounting principlesExperience building dashboards or reporting toolsCompensation: $23.00 - $25.00/hourWhy Join Our Team?Positive workplace culture401K with a company match to help you invest in your futureComprehensive medical, dental, vision, and prescription plans to keep you at your bestHone your skills or learn new ones with tuition subsidyWe provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation, and training.
