Rail Yard Diesel Mechanic

About the Job Pacific Rail Services is seeking applicants for the Rail Yard Truck Mechanic position to join our ever-growing team working at the BNSF Alliance, TX Rail Terminal in a recession proof industry! Automotive and Diesel Mechanic experience is required. APPLICANTS MUST currently live within a 45 minute commute of Haslet, TX. OUT OF AREA candidates and/or those requiring a relocation will NOT be considered. Shift:
- Wednesday through Sunday
- 2pm to midnight (10 hr shifts)
- Should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the mechanical field and be preventative maintenance minded.
- Must have own tools (Yearly tool allowance provided).
- Must have experience and knowledge working with Air, Electrical, Hydraulic, and Diesel systems and components.
- Will need a valid driver's license.
- Diagnose and repair hostler fleet, forklifts, and company vehicles.
- Maintain Hostler Fleet.
- Welding, fabricating.
- Working on Electrical components.
- Routine maintenance.
- Assist in other areas as needed by managers.
