At Veterans Guardian, we help veterans better understand the VA disability benefits they’ve earned through their service. As a Veteran Benefits Consultant, you’ll be the first person they speak with, guiding them through one of the most important conversations they’ll have after leaving the military. Every veteran has a story. Your job is to listen, ask thoughtful questions, build trust, and help them understand the opportunities available to them. What You’ll Do As a Veteran Benefits Consultant, you’ll work directly with veterans from across the country by phone, helping them navigate the first step of their disability benefits journey. This role combines consultative sales, relationship building, and client advocacy to help veterans pursue the disability benefits they’ve earned. Your responsibilities include: Conducting one-on-one consultations with veterans Learning each veteran's unique military and medical history Reviewing military service records and VA documentation Educating veterans on the Veterans Guardian process Building lasting relationships through honest, compassionate conversations Guiding veterans through onboarding and required documentation Maintaining accurate client records in Salesforce Working closely with teammates to deliver an exceptional client experience Consistently achieving individual performance and quality goals Who We’re Looking For This role is a great fit for someone who: Enjoys talking to people and building genuine relationships Is naturally curious and asks thoughtful questions Communicates with confidence and empathy Is motivated by goals and takes pride in producing great work Is dependable and shows up ready to contribute every day Stays organized and follows through on commitments Thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment Wants a career with purpose, not just another job Experience We’re Looking For We welcome candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including: Sales Customer Service Retail Leadership Banking or Financial Services Hospitality Military Service Consulting Account Management Healthcare or Insurance Any role focused on building relationships and helping people Previous VA disability experience is helpful but not required. Training & Development No prior VA claims experience? No problem. Our comprehensive paid training program will teach you everything you need to succeed, including: VA disability benefits and claim strategy Veterans Guardian processes Salesforce Consultative communication techniques Compliance and documentation standards You’ll have ongoing coaching and support as you continue to grow in your role.
