Job Title: Med-Tech Assisted Living (1st Shift) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Med-Tech to join our Assisted Living team for the 1st Shift. As a Med-Tech, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing top-notch medical and personal care. Key Responsibilities Administer prescribed medications to residents in a timely and accurate manner according to established procedures. Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of medication administration and resident interactions. Monitor residents for medication side effects and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff. Assist with daily activities of living, including grooming, bathing, and mobility support as needed. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care that meets each resident's individual needs. Respect and uphold each resident's rights to privacy, dignity, and independence. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with medical and technological advancements. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents. Qualifications Certified Medication Technician (Med-Tech) certification required. Previous experience in a healthcare or assisted living setting is preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Compassionate and patient demeanor with excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality care. Must be able to work the 1st shift schedule, including some weekends and holidays.
