Temporary Finance Clerk/ Receptionist

Our client in Roseville, MI is seeking a professional and organized Temporary Finance Clerk/ Receptionist to support our Corporate Finance Department. This high-visibility role is responsible for delivering a positive first impression to visitors while providing essential administrative and clerical support in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. This is a temporary 3–6-month position. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced office environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Ensure guests are properly checked in and connected with their hosts
• Maintain a welcoming and organized front office environment

Finance & Administrative Support

• Provide administrative support to Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Perform data entry, typing, and filing for finance-related documentation
• Assist with 3-way matching, purchase order (PO) receipts, and check processing
• Distribute incoming mail and manage correspondence
• Support monthly banking activities and assist with deposits
• Provide backup support for company cell phone administration

Additional Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and organized records
• Support company quality policies and continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Manufacturing experience, Automotive is ideal

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Strong organizational and mathematical skills
• General office/clerical experience preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Pay: $21 an hour Shift: 1st shift
