Salary: $15.00 - $28.00/hr* (actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location). Full time. Shift starts between 8:00–11:00 or 1:00–4:00. Role summary Janitorial associates ensure customers have a great first and last impression of our stores. They look after the cleanliness of the store from the parking lot to restrooms to the receiving area, maintaining a clean and safe environment. What you’ll do You play a major role in how our customers feel when they leave the store. You might be the first, last, and sometimes only associate a customer interacts with. That’s why it’s so important to smile, greet, and thank every customer, acting as an ambassador of Walmart. The pace can be intense, especially in the evenings, weekends, and holiday seasons. You will be required to juggle several tasks quickly: scanning items, explaining prices, bagging items properly, counting cash back, and maintaining a clean area. Successful associates are positive, able to multitask, and have a passion for customer service and helping others.
